Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AliveShot (“we”, “us”) handles information in the AliveShot iPhone app (the “App”) and on aliveshot.com (the “Website”). The short version: your photos and videos are yours, and we don’t sell personal information.

Your photos and videos

Website. The free converter on the Website runs entirely in your browser. The videos and GIFs you choose are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. To run the converter, your browser downloads the open-source ffmpeg.wasm library from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr), which receives standard request information such as your IP address.

App. The App needs access to your photo library so you can pick clips and save Live Photos. You choose which items the App can access through iOS permissions, and you can change this at any time in Settings.

Information we collect

• Website hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver and secure the Website.
• Purchases. If the App offers in-app purchases, payments are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation of a purchase, not your payment details.
• Support. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Diagnostics. If you’ve agreed to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us in aggregate form.

How we use information

To provide and improve the App and Website, respond to support requests, process purchases, keep our services secure, and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the App and Website (such as Apple and Cloudflare), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

Children

The App and Website are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

You can revoke photo access in iOS Settings, and delete the App at any time. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email support@aliveshot.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the App or on the Website.
